Stampin’ Up! Wood Words Quick & Easy card

Stampin' Up! Wood Words Quick & Easy card

This Stampin’ Up! Wood Words Quick & Easy card uses a super fun negative space technique.  Combine this technique with a spattering of this fun floral with a bit of eclipse technique and this equals really cute!

To create this card simply start with an A2 black card base cut at 11″ x 4.25″.  Score and fold in half at 5.5″.  Stamp the floral image several times on the white cardstock layer cut at 5.25″ x 4″.  Use the wood crate framelits to create the eclipse shapes and pop up with dimensionals.  Also add a white cardstock layer to the inside of the card, remember to stamp something on the inside for a little extra finishing touch!

Finish off your card with some pretty ribbon and a sentiment!  and remember to make your envelope pretty!

Here’s my most recent Stampin’ Up! This is an A2 card base cut at 11″ x 5.5″, scored and folded in half at 4.25″.  The Melon Mambo layer is cut at 5.25″ x 4″, and the top Vanilla layer is cut at 5″ x 3.75″.  I did cut the netting from the framelit in 2 pieces as shown in the video…  I love the layers of this card and the fun bright colors!

Petal Passion Sponge Dauber Technique

Petal Passion Sponge Dauber Technique

See how to color really really fast!  Today’s card shows the Petal Passion Sponge Dauber Technique, and WOW, sponge daubers make coloring super fast and easy!  The daubers also give you more control to get into smaller spaces by using the sides!  Just start lightly and deepen at certain points for a great look!

To create this simple card just stamp the bird, small flower cluster, and large flower cluster on a small piece of white card stock.  You can use sticky notes to hold down each framelit and run them all through at once!  The coloring is really easy.  After that it’s just a matter of layering your card stock.

Bubble Over Fun Background card

Bubble Over Fun Background card

Oh my goodness!  I love this Bubble Over Fun Background card!  Talk about a quick and simple Stampin’ Up! card idea!  No die cuts, no punches, just ink, paper, and a few pretty bling!

Yes, I did cut my sentiment in half so I could make a long horizontal phrase 🙂  No worries though, i can still use it both ways and often a cut like this increases your versatility so much!  Don’t be afraid to experiment!

One quick tip for creating a background like this is to test your colors first to see if you need to stamp off and where that would look great.  Another thing I keep in mind is to stamp larger shapes in the lighter colors and smaller in the darkest.  This way you can get more of a layered look!

Lemon Zest Heat Emboss on Vellum

Lemon Zest Heat Emboss on Vellum

This Lemon Zest Heat Emboss on Vellum card was made with a fun and sassy stamp set!  So happy this is carrying over!  I love how you can add dimension to the leaves without a stamp, simply use a a foam mat and a bone folder to create a crease down the center!

No measuring was actually done on the sentiment, I winged it!  Stamping on white cardstock then cutting a rectangle (leaving extra space at the bottom to flag the ends.  Then I layered the white on the Garden green and trimmed around.

The video shows how I layered the lemon and leaves, and vellum together all into one piece, then I added dimensionals to the back of it all to pop it up!

Remember to decorate your envelope!
