Welcome to the 2018 Kre8tors Blog Hop! I’m so excited to be part of this fun collaboration with fellow demonstrators. This month’s theme is Birthdays and I can’t wait to show you my project! I love the classic, clean look of this Stampin’ Up! Truly Tailored Birthday Card.
The baseis A2 size Cut at 8.5″ x 5.5″, scored and folded in half at 4.25″. The vanilla layer is 5.25″ x 4″ and the True Gentleman DSP is cut at 4.5″ x 3.5″. Finally, the small Very Vanilla layer is 4″ x 2 5/8″. I did fussy cut and pop up the mustache and used fine tip glue to make it “glossy”.
Remember to decorate the envelope!

Ready for some fairy tale fun? Try the Magical Day Wizard & Castle Occasions 2018 from the Myths & Magic suite! Mermaids, Dragons, knights in shining armor, unicorns, and of course, wizards! Everything you need for a fairy-tastic fun card!
In the video I show how I made a small hole in the brick wall embossed paper this allows me to cut bricks from the inside of the card to create a “hole” in the castle wall. The one part I forgot to show was how I made the hope your day sentiment separate. I stamped the sentiment and cut it out with the coordinating framelit. Once done I move the framelit down to separate the two parts.

The Truly Tailored Masculine Suit card is so easy to do for such a classic finished look! First decide on a DSP pattern for your material and just go from there! Once you know your colors you can pick the base color and accent color.
I start with an A2 size card base cut at 4.25″ x 11″. Score and fold in half at 5.5″. Because I chose to layer a cardstock piece onto the base I cut this DSP at 2.5″ x 5.25″. That allows for the perfect overlap for my buttons. Because most DSP is double sided I like to add a coordinating paper or cardstock on the lapels. In the video tutorial I show an easy way to do this! I usually choose a punch shape to create a pocket and add some ribbon for a handkerchief, love this added touch! Remember to make your envelope pretty!

The perfect touch for this Crafting Forever Masculine Card is added by the copper heat embossing, copper foil paper, and Stampin write markers.
Simply start with a Night of Navy A2 card base, cut at 8.5″ x 5.5″. Score and fold in half at 4.25″. The second layer is Early Espresso cut at 5 3/8″ x 4 1/8″, and the very vanilla layer is cut at 5.25″ x 4″.
Stamp the pen set ( which I love!) on the left and right sides of the base centered. Also stamp the envelope at this time! Clean the stamp free of ink.
Heat emboss the focal point with copper powder and colored with a night of navy stampin’ write marker. Finally, the vanilla focal is cut at 2 1/8″ x 2 1/8″, the copper is cut at 2 7/8″ x 2 7/8″, and the final night of navy layer is 3″ x 3″.
Stampin’Up! High Tide Lighthouse masking technique card
Yay! Here’s the Stampin’Up! High Tide Lighthouse masking technique card. I love sponging, and the sticky note masking technique adds a dramatic look easily!
This was created for the Creative Cat Crew color challenge. Once I laid out the colors I instantly thought of a sunset! I attached the video tutorial to show how I used the sticky notes with the sponging for the color layer effect.
Start with a Whisper White cardstock base cut at 8.5″ x 5.5″. Score and fold at 4.25″. Attach the Calypso Coral layer cut at 5 3/8″ x 4 1/8″. Cut the top sponged layer at 5.25″ x 4″.
Tear a large sticky note jaggedly across. This is your sponging template. As you move the sticky note down angle it a bit different each time. And be sure to stamp the lighthouse before sponging down too far! Remember to make your envelope pretty!
We did this Stampin’Up! Mixed Drinks Beer Star card at my last Stamp A Stack event. I always try to do a masculine card, but this would also be a great card for a beer loving gal!
Start with a Very Vanilla card base cut at 8.5″ x 5.5″. Score and fold in half at 4.25″. The next layer of Soft Suede is cut at 5.25″ x 4″ and the top Very Vanilla layer is cut at 5″ x 3.75″. Don’t adhesive yet!
Cut a length of burlap ribbon about 6.5″ tie a knot toward one end and pass it through the star, now attach the vanilla and suede layer and attach the burlap ribbon. Now you can attach the layers to the vanilla base.
Stamp the Beer outline in early espresso ink, and the “beer” in delightful dijon. (I stamped off twice first to lighten the color) Remember to make your envelope pretty!
