Hello all, I just wanted to share my really easy One Wild Ride Masculine grunge card today! There’a a couple simple tips in the video tutorial that I hope you like as well!
The Very Vanilla card base is A2 cut at 8.5″ x 5.5″. Score and fold in half at 4.25″. The top Crumb Cake cardstock layer is cut at .25″ x 4″, and the Wood Textures DSP is cut at 1 1/8″ x 4″. Stamp the Motorcycle image in Night of Navy and the grunge spatter in Crumb Cake ink. Use the Banner Triple Punch to easily flag the end. Also flag the end of the Burlap ribbon and the Very Vanilla 1/2″ strip with the stamped sentiment. Layer these and attach to the card front.
Attach the Night of Navy paper “brad” using the fine tip glue pen, and then cover the “brad with fine tip glue to make it “shiny”. Remember to stamp your envelope for a finished look!

Oh my goodness! I love this Bubble Over Fun Background card! Talk about a quick and simple Stampin’ Up! card idea! No die cuts, no punches, just ink, paper, and a few pretty bling!
Yes, I did cut my sentiment in half so I could make a long horizontal phrase 🙂 No worries though, i can still use it both ways and often a cut like this increases your versatility so much! Don’t be afraid to experiment!
One quick tip for creating a background like this is to test your colors first to see if you need to stamp off and where that would look great. Another thing I keep in mind is to stamp larger shapes in the lighter colors and smaller in the darkest. This way you can get more of a layered look!
Remember to make your envelope pretty!

I love the simplicity of this Stampin’ Up! Southern Serenade Birthday card. Today is full of simple cardmaking tips like creating a spatter background using aqua painters and tying a loop knot from 1 piece of ribbon.
For today I wanted to focus on a really quick and easy card with some very simple and fast coloring. I love all the paper in the Petal Garden DSP paper stack and I found the perfect coordinating frame for the Southern Serenade focal flower!
The spatter background is a look I love and is so easy to create. When holding the ink pad squeeze the top and the bottom together. This puts ink in the lid. Then use an aqua painter pen to pick up the ink and tap the painter over your paper to create the spatter look!

I created this Stampin’ Up! Celebrate you thinlit Quick & Easy card in both Soft Sky and Blushing Bride (as shown in the video tutorial. I love how cute it is, while being so easy to make! My mom’s cooking philosophy is quick, easy, tastes good… I thought that translated rather well for cards! Quick, easy, looks good! LOL…
Start with an A2 size cardstock cut at 11″ x 4.25″, score and fold in half at 5.5″. The white cardstock front and the inside piece are both cut at 5.25″ x 4″. the Stitched circle framelit is 2 3/8″. Stamp the flourish in Lemon Lime twist and adhere the circle framelit. Cut the “amazing” and the “you” and use a fine tip glue to adhere. Use a glue dot to attach the Mini striped lemon lime twist ribbon knot. Then scatter a few adhesive backed tutti frutti sequins.

This Stampin’ Up! 2018 Occasions Bird Banter Birthday Card was inspired by a color challenge. One thing that help me is to lay out all my colors in a challenge and see what kind of stamp set comes to mind with that mix of colors. I did sneak in some green and yellow for the birds, but otherwise stayed true to the inspiration photo.
Please consider uploading your color challenge entries every week for a chance to win free blog candy! A new challenge starts every Sunday morning with the random drawing winner being selected the following Saturday night!
