I wanted to share this quick & easy Stampin’ Up! Petals & More thinlets card today. I love how the thinlet dies are so versatile, they can be used in many different ways! I also did a quick video tutorial of this as a thank you card, Be sure to check it out on YouTube!
Simply start this card with an A2 size Whisper White cardstock base cut at 8.5″ x 5.5″. Score and fold in half at 4.25″. The Crumb Cake cardstock layer is cut at 5.25″ x 4″. There is a tool for ruffing the edges or simply use the edge of scissors. The Delicate White Doilies are in the 2017-2018 Stampin’ Up! annual catalog, use some snail adhesive in the center and attach.
The silver foil is used to cut the bundle of leaves, and the DSP is used for the bunch of flowers. Both are cut in half and attached using multipurpose liquid glue (which I love!)
Layer up your elements and remember to make your envelope pretty!

Sweet and simple describes this Petal Palette Quick & Easy card which uses Stampin Blends markers to color the coordinating Petal Passion DSP. I love this designer series paper and all the crafting possibilities!
For creating this card I used a bit from each current catalog. The Petal Passion suite is in the 2018 Occasions catalog. The Bermuda Bay 1/8″ ribbon is in the 2018 Sale A Bration catalog. And the base papers, inks, burlap ribbon, and Delicate white doilies are in the Annual catalog!
The white base is 8.5″ x 5.5″, scored and folded at 4.25″. The Crumb cake layer is 4.5″ x 3.25″. Finally, the DSP layer is 4.25″ x 3″. After that just layer the embellishments and remember to make your envelope pretty!

I had so much fun making this Stampin’ Up! Daisy Punch Dress Card from the petals of the daisy punch. The pretty swirls of color in this piece of DSP from the Delightful Daisy paper stack was perfect!
Simple start with an A2 size card base in Calypso Coral cardstock. This is cut at 11″ x 4.25″, scored and fold in half at 5.5″. Layer a 5.25″ x 4″ piece of Very Vanilla card stock embossed using the Ruffled textured Impressions embossing folder.
Next, stamp the image from Beautiful You Stamp set and fussy cut the image. This gives a base to start attaching the flower petals (see the video!) using liquid glue. Just keep layering!
Something fun I added was Wink of Stella glitter to the dress! I love the shimmer!

I just had to try this Lots of Lavender Partial die cut technique! The idea of stamping an image and having it flow off the edge of a die cut as a focal point is something I love! I have always been intrigued by off the edge die cuts for the edges or top of a card, but here we get to see it front and center!
First of all, be sure and choose a die that you want to use and the stamp set that will fit with it, this will guide you in how much “fussy” cutting needs to be done. Also in the video below I show how to stamp the image first on a bigger white piece of cardstock than needed. The trick is to make sure whatever you “fussy cut” will fit inside the die being used. (See video)
The base of the card is an A2 size cut at 8.5″ x 5.5″. Score and fold at 4.25″. The second white layer is cut at 5.25″ x 4″. Finally, the bottom DSP layer is 4″ x 2″. Be sure and put a small strip of white paper behind the glitter washi tape so it would shine bright! Remember to make your envelopes pretty!
Well, having a teen made me instantly like the Epic Celebrations 2018 Sale A Bration set from Stampin’ Up! My daughter is learning to play guitar, she loves music, and of course these kind of shoes are in style right now! Perfect!
I knew I wanted to have the shoes and the earphones be a popped up focal point, but I felt it needed more than just stamping. So I decided to heat emboss and fussy cut them! It’s always hard to do justice to heat embossing on camera and video. However, it makes such a big difference!

This Stampin’ Up! Hanging Garden 2018 Occasions Catalog set reminded me of my childhood 🙂 Yes my moms house was filled with hanging plants in the old macrame hangers… Lol… apparently that’s a good thing since it evoked happy feelings!
This card was created for a color challenge here on StampingCatCrew.com, and I loved the bright pops of color! The card is super easy to create. Just start with an A2 card base in Whisper White cut at 8.5″ x 5.5″. Score and fold in half at 4.25″. I stamped each of my plants and the sentiment on white cardstock and trimmed close. Then I mounted these on the background colors Melon Mambo, Tempting Turquoise, Daffodil Delight, and black. Each of these was cut 1/8″ bigger than the white.
A simple tip I share is that you can change the color of your ribbon. For example, here I used Melon Mambo marker on the white. However, you can also use alcohol based Stamin’ blends markers, ink pads, or re-inkers! A color to match every project! How cool is that??
